New Product Numbering System for Amarr Commercial Doors

On September 14, 2015, Entrematic instated a new product numbering system for all Amarr commercial doors. The new product numbers reflect a new logic system that assigns a digit number based on product features.
The new product numbering system has several benefits. First, as Entrematic grows and we develop more commercial door models, they will more easily fit into this numbering system. Second, now that Amarr commercial doors gave a logical numbering system, it is easier to explain the features of each model! This allows builders and architects to easily spec Amarr commercial doors.
Entrematic offers three categories of Amarr commercial doors. Each category has its own numbering system and logic chart. Here is a breakdown of each category’s logic system:
COMMERCIAL SECTIONAL DOORS
The four digits for Amarr commercial sectional doors represent the following:
- 1st & 2nd digit = gauge/material
- 3rd digit = insulation
- 4th digit = door thickness

COMMERCIAL ROLLING STEEL DOORS

- 1st digit = product category (“4” for rolling)
- 2nd digit = product class
- 3rd digit = curtain material
- 4th digit = unit type

The four digits for Amarr commercial rolling sheet doors represent the following:
- 1st digit = product category (“5” for rolling sheet)
- 2nd digit = product class

- 4th digit = guides and windlock
